GNC Declares Patronage Distribution for 2006
Notice – February 2007

The Growers National Cooperative (GNC) Board of Directors plans to declare
a distribution during their March annual meeting of over $200,000 in
patronage dividends to members for the calendar year 2006. The patronage
distribution was made possible from GNC’s profits, including underwriting
gains, and payments will begin in late March and early April to all patron
members for the 2006 crop year business.

Dividends are paid only if GNC has a profit.  The dividend is calculated based
on support of sponsoring associations in the form of dues and check off
payments.  The dividend is NOT related in any way to the premium paid by
the farmer.  Patronage dividends, if any, and as authorized by the Board of
Directors, will comply with state insurance regulations, the RMA’s Standard
Reinsurance Agreement (SRA), and other applicable cooperative
regulations.

“The partnership between GNC and our shareholder associations has grown
considerably over the last year,” states John McClendon, GNC Chairman.
“We will be distributing more than double in dividends compared to last year’
s figures. As friends and neighbors talk about the advantages of becoming a
GNC member, our membership continues to climb.  I am proud to be
associated with this exciting movement in the crop insurance industry.”

GNC operates to provide our members with the right coverage.  Our goal is to
create profitability for our producer members by providing superior service as
efficiently as possible.  Wheat, soybean, corn, potato and other grower
associations endorse our products in the states in which GNC operates.
